Our Staff
At Creative Fingers Community Nursery, children's safety is our main goal.
We have very experienced matured staff, who are all safely recruited, have childcare qualifications and others ranging from Degree holders, NNEB, CYPW, NVQ, Food safety, Safeguarding etc. with many years experience working with children.
All staff are DBS checked, first aid trained and pursue continuous professional development at regular intervals.
Students on attachment for job experience are all DBS checked and they work under supervision.
Key Person
We have a key person policy and settling-in procedure. Every child has a key worker who works closely with child and parent to ensure continuity and consistency in child's development.
Settling - in : Parents are made to stay with their children in the nursery for a number of days for child to settle before living him or her.
Ratio
Our staffing ratio is : 1: 4 for children 2-3yrs
1 : 8 for children 3yrs and above.
